After moving into New York, Bailey began her professional career as a model. She soon signed a five year contract at Wilhelmina Models and was seen on the cover of Essence. Bailey's photo shoot for the cover of Essence was an enormous hit and quickly became one of the most famous magazine cover ever. She began a successful modeling career and earned her second magazine cover. She walked the runways at Paris Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week because of her successes and fame. After that, back in New York City, Bailey was the face of big names such as Maybelline, Macy, and Olay. Bailey was selected to be a part in the reality series 'The The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
