Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is best known for the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. In the late 80s the actress began her acting career, and was well-known for the character Tezaab in which she appeared with an established actor Anil Kapooor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. When she was a kid she began learning at an early stage. In her early years, when she first started to act as a child actress, most films she produced were not successful. In the end, she was successful in Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. Following her wedding the actress took time to rest from her acting career before returning. In the last few years, Dixit had a major role to play as a character in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit received 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Also, she has earned a name for her social activism.
